Overview

The Vice President of Construction – is a key member of the executive team responsible for the strategic oversight, operational excellence, and financial performance of the company’s self-performing construction services. This leader will drive best-in-class execution across core trades (e.g., concrete, carpentry, demolition, excavation) while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive construction experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing self-perform work.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and operations at scale.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the overall business including sales, estimating, operations and finance.
  • LMA, Lead, Manage and hold Accountable all direct reports
  • Must demonstrate and model the company’s core values and 4 Pillars.
  • Deliver profitable projects with excellent customer service.
  • Build the Team through recruiting, retention, training and performance.
  • Build process infrastructure to allow projected growth
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Manage all data reporting to leadership.
